Growth business within disinfection robots secures partnership with German distributor
The company: Willich Elektrotechnik GmbH from Bebra, Germany became the first distributor of the disinfection robot, DMD4000, on the German market after the contract was signed on the 26th of November.
The partnership was signed in the light of ‘Robot Days 2021’, which is the outline for interesting discussions, professional presentations, and new exhibitions amongst Willich’s partners, and customers. Just as well did the CEO, Karsten Thinggaard from Autonomous Units ApS, as he took the opportunity to present some of the newest technology within mobile disinfection for the rest of the partners.
The participating at ‘Robot Days 2021’ formed just as well a solid foundation – including a good manifestation of common values, and ambitions – between Madeleine Willich, and Karsten Thinggaard for the future collaboration.
“We share a common passion for saving lives, while increasing the general hygiene. In addition, during COVID19 we want to set the tools available to avoid further lockdowns – which is an amazing substrate for a constructive partnership” elaborates, Karsten Thinggaard.
“Willich Elektrotechnik GmbH is an interesting business with years of experience within electrotechnology, and automation. Together with a business philosophy of an ‘all-round solution’ are we confident that we have found the right partner; we see that ‘complete solutions’ including counseling, project planning, and continuous help after implementation is crucial for penetrating the German market and reaching the Germen end users.
A natural head-start
The fit of the partnership with Willich Elektrotechnik GmbH seems obvious based on several reasons; the company is already a Mobile Industrial Robots distributor among others. Years of experience, and knowledge with the application means that there is a great familiarity with our product, as our patent pending disinfection solution is built upon it.
Moreover, is the business represented by the 2nd generation of Willich, where it is the daughter, Madeleine Willich, who is in charge. “We have gained another strong partner. We will look forward to our close collaboration. Together against COVID19!”
Especially during a period imprinted with the words: COVID19, spread of disease, and surfaces of contamination, does it make sense to introduces new technology to the market. But the job is not just done developing the technology; it must contemplate with reality, and therefore work in practical contexts.
Rosengårdscenteret in Odense, Denmark, is one of the places, where the implementation of the DMD4000, contemplates with reality, as it was needed as a ‘moving hand sanitizer stand’ amongst the Center’s visitors during the opening hours.
“Robots has come to stay, and we are certain that it will continue to be a part of our future.” Says Morten Blomstrøm, who is the technical manager at ECE rojectmanagement G.m.b.H. & Co. KG.
